Values and life skills in education as an emerging area has not received the necessary attention. This prompted the Adapting Assessment Into Policy and Learning (ADAPT): Adolescent 21st Century Skills Project team to organise an knowledge sharing workshop with media editors and news managers.

The objective of this workshop was to share the highlights of the evidence generated from research conducted and explore ways in which we can collaboratively with the media to enhance awareness and coverage of values and life skills.

Dr. David Aduda from Aga Khan University led the team through sessions looking at how the media can comfortably cover this area and what INGOs/NGOs need to do to support and provided required data.
