Secondary School Teachers in Tanzania Awarded Technology Literacy Certificates

Over 400 teachers from Morogoro and Pwani regions in Tanzania have been awarded certificates for successfully completing two modules in the Technology Literacy Level of the ICT competency professional development programme under the African Digital Schools Initiative (ADSI). This is part of a wider implementation of the African Digital Schools Initiative in 40 secondary schools in Tanzania.The programme aims at whole-school ICT integration and transforming these schools into Digital Schools of Distinction. The teachers received certificates as they geared up for the second phase of training which incorporates Project Based activities where both teachers and learners participate fully.ADSI is funded by Mastercard Foundation, Canada.
