ALICT Programme Kenya

Historically  Kenya  has  always prioritized  education  and  training  at  all  levels  as  it  is considered  the  foundation  for  social  and  economic  development.  The  goal  of  education and  training  is  to  build  the  human  resources  necessary  for  national  development  and wealth creation.  In a 2009 research project conducted by GESCI, major investment in ICT infrastructure had taken place.

To help build leadership capacity to leverage ICT and Education, 74 mid and Senior level officials across various Kenyan Ministries participated in the African Leadership in ICT programme  from 2012 -2014.
