During a 2-day workshop in Nairobi, the school principals received certification in recognition of their lead roles in supporting their teachers to utilise and integrate digital technologies in their teaching.

The digital transformation is taking course in 80 secondary schools in Kenya.The move, through the African Digital Schools Initiative is reaching out to over 800 teachers and 1500 students of Science, Technology, English, Mathematics (STEM) and other subjects.

GESCI has conducted training for teachers of Science Technology English and Mathematics (STEM) in the Morogoro and Pwani regions of Tanzania.

On January 15, 2018, GESCI , in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Tanzania, handed over digital equipment(laptops and digital projectors) to 40 secondary schools in the Pwani and Morogoro regions of Tanzania.

GESCI (Global eSchools and Communities Initiative) implemented a new and exciting technology-driven innovation in secondary education in Kenya called ADSI – Africa Digital Schools Initiative – will transform 80 secondary schools into Digital Schools of Distinction.

GESCI brought together 80 secondary school head teachers from Nyamira, Kiambu, Taita Taveta and Narok counties for a three day specializes programme in establishing Digital Schools of Distinction .

GESCI, in partnership with The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST), held Regional Teachers’ Conference in the counties of Nyamira, Kiambu, Taita Taveta and Narok, Kenya.
