GESCI facilitated the training of government officials from the Ministries of Basic and Senior Secondary Education and Technical and Higher Education over a two-week period in Cape Town South Africa. The first week focused on Education Management Information Systems and the second week the group split between GIS and M&E training with a focus on applications for their sector contexts. The 2019 AU Innovating Education in Africa Expo winning Innovator Susannah Farr presented her Peer 2 Peer model to the officials.
