Côte d'Ivoire
Côte d'Ivoire adopted the new development strategy as part of the framework National Development Plan (NDP ) 2012-2015. The aim is to achieve a vigorous growth, solidarity and produce jobs that allow Côte d'Ivoire to be an emerging country by 2020.
In line with the approach of the Managing for Results ( GAR ) the NDP challenge is to create a lasting peace and stability and environment to orchestrate the structural transformation of the economy in the long term . A strategy paper (CSP ) for the period 2013-17 was developed for the implementation of the NDP.
The strategy is based on two pillars:
- enhancing governance and social cohesion
- support for reconstruction and economic recovery
GESCI signed a memorandum of understanding in 2016. Under the agreement, GESCI and Côte d’Ivoire will join efforts to implement Côte d’Ivoire’s strategy to integrate ICT in education, more generally, to facilitate the reform of Côte d’Ivoire’s education system, in view of Côte d’Ivoire’s social and economic transformation.
