In Kenya, over 800 teachers were trained in Technology Literacy during the first cycle. Cycle 2, on Knowledge Deepening, encompasses the 21st Century Skills of Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Problem Solving, Creativity and Communication.
Online training over a period of 8weeks involving chats and discussions fora will follow the face-to-face training. Teachers who successfully complete the Cycle will receive certification in November 2018.
This training is part of a wide initiative to provide ICT-based professional development of teachers especially in the STEM Subjects.
