Africa Knowledge Exchange

The AKE is a strategic knowledge sharing community which empowers members to make more informed ICT4E decisions underpinned by research, good practice and experiences of peers. The AKE brings together developing and developed country governments, development agencies, Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs), private sector organisations and expert individuals (at national, regional and global levels) involved in education and the development of a Knowledge Society. Together they share experiences and learn to coordinate activities and resources and to share good practices, appropriate solutions and tools for ICT integration.

The workshop held in Accra in July 2009 was the third in the AKE series. In 2008 it was held in Kigali, Rwanda, where it focused on e-learning as a key component in many country programmes and initiatives.
